Update from the Superintendent 9.25.2020 This is Superintendent Tim Ames. I am pleased to announce we will begin the process of phasing our students into in-person learning. We are working in conjunction with the Spokane Regional Health District and other Spokane County School Districts in developing a plan. Our district team has met twice and will meet again on Monday, September 28 to finalize a proposal to present to the school board for their approval. The plan will be for all students from preschool through 12th grade. We will continue to communicate with you throughout the process. Anticipate receiving the plan on Monday, October 5thThe first phase will begin Monday, October 12th for preschool and kindergarten as approved by the Spokane Regional Health District. This will not impact grades 1-12 who are currently accessing the internet cafes or receiving in-person instruction until their grade level phases into on site instruction.If you have questions or concerns please email them to [email protected]. Thursday, September 17, 2020 Given the improved air quality, Medical Lake School District will be open Thursday, September 17, 2020 for in person learning for those students who attended last week. Meal pick-up and deliveries will resume as scheduled. Please check the nutrition services page for routes and times.
